Key features
Asset management and lifecycle tracking
We don't manage an asset list, but the asset's entire lifecycle. Every asset has its own digital history: master data, documents, photos and the activities performed. The current status is available at the push of a button, and any point in the whole lifecycle can be retrieved.
Field identification and work on mobile
On a rugged device suitable for Ex environments, the colleague identifies the equipment with a QR / NFC / RFID code and instantly accesses its full history. They work through checklists, record photos and defects, even offline. The system prevents accidental overwriting of data.
Thermal imaging documentation
Using the field device, the colleague takes a thermal image, and EPDS stores it together with the temperature data alongside the asset. This makes deviations in overheating connections, bearings or seals traceable and comparable with earlier states.
Automatic documentation and reports
Based on customisable templates, EPDS automatically generates records, defect lists and compliance reports in PDF and XLSX format. Documentation can be structured and indexed consistently, the main document can be previewed instantly, and an unlimited number of attachments can be added to it. Importing and exporting data and documents is just a single click.
Real-time status and dashboard
Everyone sees the same up-to-date asset and compliance status. The dashboard shows compliance, missed activities, statistics, the calendar and notifications, per site or aggregated.
Custom assessment frameworks
Data fields (text, number, date), conditions and activities can be defined freely, so any assessment framework can be built. A single asset can satisfy several frameworks at once, so alongside explosion-safety engineering it can also be assessed for, say, lifting equipment or lightning protection.
